What is ride control?

How to turn off the service ride control system?
- Get a pair of recommended resistors. The spec may range from 1.5 to 3 ohms.
- First, we have to remove the compressor cover which is located behind the rear shock.
- Now that you have completed the above step, you have to find the wiring which is located above the air compressor.
- There will be wires which are will be leading from the solenoid exhaust valve. The solenoid exhaust valve is situated above the air compressor. Find it out. Locate the blue and white wires and cut them off.
- Wire the resistor onto the two mentioned wires above.
- Get a wire stripper to twist and strip the ends of the wires.
- Make a secure connection with the ends of the wires to the resistor. To make sure you have a secure connection tuck them.
- Use electrical tape to secure the connection you have just made with the blue and white wire along with the resistor.
- Re-attach the cover around the air compressor.
If you follow the steps above, you will have successfully overridden the service control light.
Symptoms and basic tips to get it repaired
One of the tire wear problems which can be discussed is the problem of cupping. Cupping is nothing but heavy wear in small areas of the tire which says that there is a problem with the suspension.
